Mediterranean Holidays Malta & GozoJuly 2004 Malta Trip ReportMay 2005 Malta Trip Report June 2006 Gozo Trip Report Our next scheduled trip to GOZO is September 4th 2008.This location is ideally suited to adults and children wishing to complete their open water qualifying dives in warm, clear water. The absence of tides and currents make snorkelling or diving effortless and enjoyable. Our instructors accompany the trips and provide all training. Suitably qualified buddy pairs (Advanced Open Water minimum) may dive unescorted if they wish. Diving is mainly guided shore dives from various points around the islands, on both impressive walls and purposely scuttled wrecks. Gozo's world famous underwater topography may be supplemented with day trips to dive the island of Comino, with it's abundant fish life and Malta with it's range of dives and land based activities. The range of available dives provide an excellent opportunity to experience different types of diving - Deep, Underwater Navigation, Night, Wreck and Underwater Photography are popular choices for completing the five dives of the PADI Advanced Open Water course. Non diving members of the group are kept well entertained for the hour or so that the divers are away.
The party atmosphere continues as you join groups of your new friends to go out exploring the local nightlife. Travel Insurance SpainSeptember 2005 Trip ReportProbably the most convenient blue water location for a short break, either to complete a course or just to get away for some inexpensive and delightful diving or snorkelling in the sunshine. Our instructors accompany the trip and provide all training. The holidays consist of six nights bed & breakfast accommodation in an english family's new villa with ten dives from both a Rigid Inflatable Boat and shore. Dive sites are selected to suit guest's requirements, whether scuba or snorkel. Discounts are available for snorkellers where scuba cylinders are not required.
The villa features one double room with en-suite bathroom, two twin rooms sharing a bathroom and an appartment sleeping four. It further offers it's own pool and sun terrace with barbeque facilities for relaxing, when not diving or sightseeing locally.
After a great mornings diving you may want to visit sites around the beautiful Costa Brava (we can arrange car hire at great rates), these could include Pals (medieval village, very pretty), Estartit (full of Brits), Palamos (great for shopping), the Salvador Dali museum or just a lovely beach. Diving: Ten dives including trips to the marine park reserve at the famous Medes Isles, together with a mix of wreck and reef dives to suit all standards of diver.
